What file formats can PartSpan import?

PartSpan imports BOMs from CSV, TSV, and XLSX files with columns for internal part number, MPN, description, quantity, reference designators, and footprint. Rows are validated before a draft BOM is created.

How is PartSpan different from cloud BOM tools like OpenBOM or PartsBox?

Cloud BOM tools store your bill of materials on their servers and charge a monthly subscription. PartSpan keeps everything local: your data lives in a SQLite file you own and back up yourself, and the license is a one-time purchase.

Open the DMG and drag PartSpan to Applications.
Double-click to launch. The app is signed and notarized by Apple — no security bypass needed.
